Has any of tried the short arms yet? XP's?

We did, they worked nicely with 3.5+3.0 blocks in the front and 1.0+4.0 in the rear on a tight carpet track.

By the way, i'm using the oil dif in rear and front too, I made a small part (steel) that works perfect in the front, now I have more steering and a lot of run time.

The picture show the work in progress top deck, easier to see without the last carbon fiber layer.

Finaly I can use my 2,5T and the car still running,

Already tested, and works fine, realy perfect.

what oil do you use in the front geardiff ? i tested this weekend and was about 3 sec faster with spool over 5 min, but i think i used to heavy oil (300.000cst) ? but the car was much easier to drive with diff. it was just 2/10 of at sec slower per lap.

do u mean the carbon fiber insert (CFI) arms??? some said it gives better initial steering response, but i think it's all due to it's being shorter (short track width) instead of anything to do with its carbonfiber thingy... but none i know has tried with wider block... well i guess same track width but shorter arms may give faster response... i might be wrong... wher do u get those blocks??? tamiya???

any news of the aluminium knuckles???

Are you using 300.000cst ? because 300.000cst is realy reavy.

I'm using 10.000cst and 30.000cst (for high speed track), very good steering, with heavy oil is dificult to get corner.

N.O,

RobertJunior has a front diff in his car too. He's posted pictures of his car earlier in this thread.

Not Tamiya, Serpent has its own 3.5 and 4.0 suspension block for the short arms.

May have to wait like the rest of us. Serpent changing hands and them getting their Web up in the US.

MRW maybe the only Serpent S400 parts available if you are lucky. S120 you'll be lucky if there in the US.
