thanks... i think ther r a big market for this conversion as most r looking to run lipo in their S400 but the ori top deck is very limited to 3200 or 3800 (with mods) mah lipo... hope the new top deck will solve the clearance issue...

Here is a photo picked from CAD-model. In detail view you can see that there is a bit less material close to the motor. So you need to machine some material off from motor pod.

Top decks are available next week!

so where is everyone getting their 5x10x3 bearings. Id like to find some cool abec5 or 7s but all im finding is abec3 with metal sheilding

bro, wstuart, u can get abec5 bearing here as well as ceramic bearing for s400

www.vxb.com, You'll find Ceramic, Steel Sealed, & rubber sealed bearings. Just search 5x10x3 bearings.

Hi All!

We have tested the topdecks last weekend, there were 10+ S400 running with the Vesa-type topdeck. The result is really promising, the cars were especially fast when the grip was lower. It is a must have item for any of you planning to run with HardCased LiPo's.

no but ive been told that it is really well balanced and would be a great starting poin for my home track

billy was using 5cells in TITC.....the traction in TITC track is very high traction and rough surface....

Give your LHS or Distributor a try. It's a new part so I guess it will take a little time until they publish on their website.
