Nope, the stock car has been working so well for me I haven't really tried too hard to get a hold of one.

OOOh, I hope that top deck makes fitting a Checkpoint 5400 with Verndogs base plate possible. If it does, then I am selling my TC5 for the S400...

Hi. I was just looking into the S400 and had a few questions.

Looking at the spring rates, theres really only white, yellow and orange springs that you would be using for 5 cell on road asphalt. Every other spring seems extremely heavier in poundage. Is that correct?

Also do the rear blades wear quickly?

Is the geared diff as good as it sounds? Having a tourer without having to do diff rebuilds throughout the day is a miracle.

With fitting of the longer topdeck, it just looks as though you remove the bulkhead thingy that runs over where the batteries are and the top deck fits there? I saw it on http://www.onetenracing.co.uk/index.asp

Thanks

Ark,

The only other springs I would consider are the red. I ran them yesterday on the front of the car on high traction asphalt, with no front roll bar. They worked really well. The rear blades wear well. You will need to change them but not very often. The gear diff is as good as it sounds. Hope this helps.

Thanks AdamD. The car must be engineered in a certain way to only need a few spring rates, i.e. keeping it simple.

Just a question, are the roll bars the same shape for the front and rear?
