Thanks!

Honestly I wasn't going to bother posting the setup, the track was so bumpy and had so many straightaways into hairpin turns that I really don't think it's much use to anyone, it would probably just do donuts on a normal track because of how little traction it has.

I know he went up to race today, not sure if they are back home or not, it was a local trophy race so it probably had a pretty big turnout..

So far, on every track I have used the Mazdaspeed 6 on it has had less steering than the Mazda 6. If you need more traction just mount the wing further back.

I've run the 4600SHO at the Reedy Race and the ROAR Nats and they were great at both events, lots of voltage with a ton of runtime left at the end of my runs. At the Nats we wanted to test to see if a motor/gearing combo could overheat my ESC and we finally pulled it off at 8 mins of running.

I did finally get up to BCR for some racing today. The layout was a bit, um different. Small track to start with and the layout didn't have a full straightaway on it so it was pretty interesting running a 3.5 Orion. But the car was good. I choked in qualifying and ended up in the B. I was fighting for the lead and choked again. Oh well. The car was great. I was running Randy's setup except with the wider (stock) pivot blocks. I think I could have used a little less rear toe because the rear tires were getting a bit hot after about 3 minutes and loosing some rear grip. But overall the car was great. I'm happy with the way it's running.

randy, isnt it illegal to mount the wing more further back ??

That just depends on where you're racing. In most cases where the wing is teched you can go 10mm past the rear bumper. For club racing there shouldn't be any rule as to how far back you can run it.

ROAR and IFMAR is basically the same. IFMAR dosen't allow Lipo's yet.
