I probably wont be on here a whole lot in the next 10 or so days, I leave on Tuesday and neither of my cars are done so I've got a busy wrenching weekend ahead..

First off, by using the UK upper deck you would need to alter your setup to get it to work. It looks like it would flex a lot, compared to the stock one which flexes very little. If your chassis flexes too much, you will scrub speed in the corners. I would try back to back runs with the UK deck and the standard top deck, as I honestly think you will get some of your cornerspeed back by stiffening up the chassis.

Other things to try would be a longer front camber link, I could see your current link getting into the corner very well, but dumping over too much throughout the turn.

Try your swaybars in the outside holes on the arms.

Try .5mm anti-squat in your rear end, this will definately help the car rotate, for some, it is too much though.

One simple thing to play with would be camber adjustments, start off by using less rear camber before you use more front camber.

Give those changes a shot, I've got plenty more for you if they don't work.
Had a great race at the weekend and tried a few of these ideas - tried the back to back runs with the top deck but still liked the feel of the UK top deck although I did add the two stiffeners to stiffen it up a bit. I had 1mm shims under the rear to raise the roll center and replaced one of them with a 0.6mm shim to give ant-squat - don't know why but did not like this change. Did the camber change going to 1 degree on the rear and 1.5 degress on the front as well as putting all the ARBs to the outside holes and lengthened the front turnbuckle. Car felt good and the changes made a difference... but...

When trying to hold more speed to go into the corner instead of slowing down as much I have understeer - I'm not trying to break the laws of physics honest but at the point when I let of the throttle at a good speed it just does not go into the corner as well (slower speeds I have lots of steering).

Any ideas? I am thinking of building my car to Randys Reedy setup for the next race to see how that feels.

scoyle - Give my setup a shot, I think it will help. One major thing though is make sure you run the entire setup not 95% of it, it's all the small things that make the difference.

To run the 18 tooth pulley you probably would just need a belt with 1 more tooth on it, I haven't really searched for them but I cant imagine them being too hard to find.

Hi Randy...would you care to comment on the feeling of the S400 gear diff vs ball diff you've run in the past?

When you get a chance I'd be cool to get your perspective on the feel of the car in and out of corners with the gear diff as opposec to a rear ball diff.

I'm not sure why you're wearing out pulleys, I looked at my origional kit's pulleys and they show no wear at all... Go back to the stock ones with the new belts and you should be fine.
