Does anyone want to trade a carpet chassis & upper deck for a good Lipo? Pics are on the for sale or trade forum.

I ran a couple of them when they first came out, but didn't have the best luck with them. Thermal shutoffs and couldn't get them programmed to feel like an LRP. Stick with the ESC that you have, it's the best available.

randy, d sphere 07 i have cannot run 6cell for 3.5r...it's oni can use 5cell...i have big disadvantages on d straight which i easily being overtake by 6cell car....

i see d tc sphere also nt much different than sphere 07. only it's can run 6 cell. the price for tc sphere is much more higher ....

so i thinking wan to try sp GT 1.1 ....

randy, you run sp Gt or sp GT 1.1 before??

do u know wat billy easton using for his s400 ??LRP or SP ?

the LRP TC is by far alot better than the 07 and can handle motors down to 3.5,(2.5 with 5 cells) the SP 1.1 is a great esc, i had no problems with thermal issues , just takes a little tome to find the perfect settings , the TC is very smooth you will be happy with it.

The SP GT is very good ESC, I think you'll really like it.

I believe I ran the 1.1, but not sure, it was updated from the origional ESC's.

I'm not sure what Billy runs, I think I saw an LRP in his car in some pics I saw a while ago, but not 100% sure about that.

If you are running mod, the extra $75 is worth it, it is a big difference. I also gained about 2 laps worth of runtime when I switched back to LRP which is insane.

I'm sure MANY other people have had and will have the thrust bearing problem in the stock diff, but the Duratrax Differential rebuild kit has close to 1.5mm thrust balls that work perfectly in replacement of the stock s400 thrust bearing. I just installed them and did a test run and it works great...

Told you...that's all you need. And if you really want a very long lasting and super smooth diff, get the Serpent S400 Ceramic 3mm balls for your diff, and then get ceramic 1.5mm balls for the thrust bearing section and the diff will be super smooth and last a long time.

www.acerracing.com

They have them in stock for great price...nothing better for a long lasting super smooth diff

Last week I ran my S400 with rear diff using the Serepnt ceramic balls and the JAAD S400 thrust bearing and its really good. Ran 8 packs with 3.5 and Lipo and the diff is super smooth. Car rotates better also

yyhayyim was the one to suggest me to do that and it works flawlessly. I'll be getting the gear diff sooner or later anyways, just because its so consistant, but this will work until I get it.
