I have different oils in my box , but the Serpent lubes are availible in...

1000 part number 160001
3000 part number 160003
5000 part number 160005
7000 part number 160007
10000 part number 160010

and if you run in a low traction enviroment, you may want some options on the lighter side.I have not tried them, but will.

Shock oil of 35,45 and 50 look like they may be a good option to fine tune..

35 = 600
45 = 1400
50 = 2000

Thanks for advice. What about those Losi 3K, 5K and 7K

Do you know how they goes like above example... 35 = 600 etc...

I`m newbie with this so can you tell...?

I am not sure, I know shock oils seem to be off from manufacturer to manufacturer, but if you have the losi stuff, start with the 5k and go up in more traction and down in low traction. My suggestion for anyone running the gear diff, is to get at least two of them for testing.... not that you need the second one, but it does make it easier for testing lubes...

Default S400 testing

Good newz: Friday morning Felix Law and I headed to the track for some testing. I set up the Computer & Timing system to gage times and take note of set up changes and lines.

We ran 10.5 BL and proceeded to test different cars and tire combos. Felix was testing a his trusty and killer Sirukarn Edition HB Cyclone, and a Cyclone S as well. The Cyclone S with with Novak 10.5 EX motor, and a cheap Venom nimh stick pack, with CS27 tires, was a able to run 15.27 sec lap times. With an SSPRO 10.5BL and good Lipo the CYclone S would be in the 14.70 range. The car handled nicely- with a cheap $10 servo!!!

Cyclone Surikarn edition with Novak 10.5 SSpro, and Lipo, was able to pull a fast lap of 14.61 sec.

next we proceeded to test with CS27 tires, and the Surikarn Cyclone was able to beat the previous 14.61 sec time....Felix felt the car was faster, and indeed, the car ran a whooping 14.43 sec lap time for the fastest lap at the track so far.

My MI3 was able to get to 14.53 sec with Jaco blues.

After running for a couple hrs and testing felix had to go back to the Hobby shop. I remained testing, and next came time to whoop out my S400.

I ran the S400 with box set up, and Core5000 pack wiith Jaco Blues, and my 10.5BL system from Speed Passion.

My good friend Alfonso Irwin sat by the Computer to check times...first lap, 15.21, then 14.99, then 14.86, then 14.74, then 14.65, then boooommm: 14.39!!!

We coulndt belive it. Not bad for the first outing with the car after last driving one over 8 months ago!!! I wonder what the S400 would've done with some CS27's on there? The car is really good. Just like the Cyclones, the S400 work right away. No need to work weeks and months to finally get them to work. No need to have high traction either. These cars with the box set up can work on clean asphalt tracks much better than most cars out there

I only use the Sphere TC, but I think the regular Sphere can handle the 3.5r, just might have thermaling problems. I'd definately buy the optional fan/heatsink..
