Nice indeed...
I can't beleive Losi is still recycling the XXX-S platform. Don't get me wrong, I have one for years now and still run it every weekend. I installed the Mamba Max 7700 combo and Li-po 3200 a few weeks ago and the car rocks.
Looks like the support for the XXX-S will never stop
.
By the way, anyone can tell me when the XXX-S was released ?
Cheers.

Also because it is moulded it is a lot cheaper to produce for RTR's, and because it has a sealed drivetrain it is a lot more street-friendly.
Still have a few running locally, still going well, I always thought the XXX-S looked good on track.

I hope this comes as a kit, i.e Shell, wheels, pipes etc. I've a couple of XXXS I could do with recycling!

it does look cool but i think r/c drifting is best suited for the nitro platform don't you think?

Drifting needs fine throttle control, you just can't get that with a nitro because of the clutch.

I really dont like that this came out....Losi is known to be a great racing company, and as a racer, I think it would be best if they concentrated on that. Is this Horizons doing?

Losi has the XXX-4, JRX-S, the MF2, the AD2, and the 8ight. Those are its only racer cars.
BUT it has the LST-2, the MLST-2, the Aftershock, the Muggy, the MiniT, the MicroT, etc for bashers... so they are really half and half.

Wow, it is no wonder Gil left Team Losi.
The all mighty dollar is showing its power with this product.
They just keep pumping out expensive toys. Not that they don't have a right to do that. I can just see how Team Losi, most likely odered by Horizon, has probably started to focus less on the race products than they had in the past.

Hey if they want to pimp out old product to make a buck and keep there race status cars priced low ... I have no problem if they fund there R&D off the backs of the RTR AND BASHER GROUP of the hobby

Heck if xray could drop PRO level kit prices by selling some RTR T1R's let them do it! LOL

I doubt the time it took to pick a body and add a few bits realy distracted the losi engineers and designers from the task at hand.
Companies like Losi need to expand their markets to keep the business going.
