Hey Terry.

I know that there is no way of knowing what number are out there that AMB has already used. Just curious this new transponders will work with both autoscore and other sofware.

Here an Idea not sure if it will work or not. will the programs be alble to read a letter instead of a number and be able to tell the difference.

like all your Transpoders could be sold with the first digit a letter then the next nine or seven in the series be numbers. would that work. that way you wouldn't come into conflict with other number that already been used up by AMB.

Just a a though.

cyrrus, you are thinking too complicated. They bought ten AMB transponders, wrote down the numbers, and destroyed them or locked them in a vault. Those numbers will come on every Stealth.

Hi Nathan. Yes it's good to see people are interested. I guess being a smaller size and cheaper does catch the attention!

Hi cyrrus, adamge is right you're getting too complicated about the numbers. Any race control software/system running with AMB has to 'read in' the numbers from the decoder so only those numbers that are recognised will be counted. Our numbers are all AMB numbers so they will work with any AMBrc/AMBrc3 system and software.

Hi acko, price not fixed yet but about half the current AMB price. When they're available you will be able to get them from MRT at www.team-mrt.com or via our webshop.

hi terry,

As the number on the AMB PT's are written on the transponder

I was wondering how do we know what numbers are on the mrt PT's?

Is it on a list when you buy the PT? what if we lose that list?

tx

Gym, just pass the transponder over the line to discover what number it is on.

Hi GymBeam, yes the numbers will be on a list. If you lose the list we'll be able to supply another or a link to a list on-line etc. Maybe a good idea to make sure you keep a copy of the list somewhere safe. If you end up stuck then just pass it over the loop and it will show the number on the computer screen!

Also can't wait for this to come out. Now that I have 2 cars to race, I need a 2nd PT.

Terry_S, you should make a thread in the Electric and Nitro Offroad thread too. Not everyone who races offroad ever comes to the Onroad thread, and alot of ppl probably don't even know about your product. Nitro ppl in particular, as they don't know what an 'ESC' is, or that MRT even exists.

Thanks guys, we're working on getting the PTX out asap!

Hi Stealth_RT I have put a note on the micro/mini car thread, thought they'd like to know about a smaller cheaper PT. I'll have to look at the other forums, but any class I guess would like a new type PT.. even if they've never heard of MRT

They're right Terry. I never look at the elec on-road forum. How I found out about you was from the "main" page. The iPT thread was the top post, that got my attention.

A smaller PT would always be nice, but the main interest for everyone is the 'half the cost of AMB's PTs'. Unless the exchange rate to the US is gonna make it the same cost or more. Any chance of distributing these thru EA Motorsports? When I had my MRT ESC, that's where I bought it from.
