Also worth a reminder.. If you want a cloned transponder you need to use the order form at www.rclaps.com

For a new cloned transponder you need to send your original PT in (but not when re-ordering cloned transponders). If you want your PT returned early there is an option on the order form, we will return it a couple of days or so after we receive it. The normal turn-around is currently about a week to 10 days with us plus the shipping time back.

With the 'custom' type PTX (custom ID) you get 20 standard 'generic' ID#'s plus a custom ID so you get a new number.. so no need to send your PT to us. A normal custom ID type PTX has a blue LED with standard length lead, but if you prefer you can have a PTX with a custom LED and lead.. that's as well as a normal or tab case or the extra small 'shrink' version.

Hey Terry_S:

I was just checking out the 'Custom PTX' and was wondering why you need the 20 numbers if it already comes with a 'custom' number? If it comes with the 'custom' number, can't it just be used just like any other PT?

Thanks

Hi Darkseid,

It's because if you had the number 2345678 for instance that number may or may not exist, it could be 'out there' somewhere now or could come off the AMB 'PT production line' at some time in the future.. so if you're using that number in your PTX, one day it's possible (although the chance is very unlikely) you could come across an AMB PT with the same number. Having the other 20 generic ID's means you can change between the custom (or cloned) number, this gets round any problems. It's also useful other times, for instance for team/enduro racing where you're all on the same 'team' number.

A custom number PTX version is used just like any other PT.

.. and you end up with 21 numbers for the price of 1!!

Please note that delivery is scheduled to commence during January we've had a few people checking to see if their order has been sent. Shipping for new PTX versions (these being custom ID, shrink and clone orders/re-orders) will commence in the next few days.

Hi Syber, shipping starts Monday 14th. It's usually about a week to a week and a half, so fingers crossed for your order!

Did the prices increase? I'm finding them at $68US (shrinkwrapped) and $78US (w/case), and not $59US. Are these prices shipped, or is that extra as well?

BTW, I'm interested in buying 2.

Thanks,

Ron

Hi Ron, like Wildbillsphotos says the discount offer ended last week. There is still the free shipping worldwide offer.

I just checked the prices from our online store checkout, they are: $59.82 shrinkwrapped and $68.49 cased. You have to select your country in the checkout (United States of America) to see the correct US$ price. The cloned price is $75US + shipping (details on order form).

If you have any problems ordering let me know.

New orders are now scheduled for shipping in February. The new PTX versions started shipping this week, we're very busy working on despatching orders. We are hoping to have the exisiting orders cleared next week. Should have the PTX (other than cloned/custom built orders) available from stock by early next month. Custom/Cloned orders turn around is currently about a week to 10 days plus shipping time.

Thanks to everyone who has ordered so far!

I have come across a guy was asked a question to you "he has 2 amb pt, you can clone the 2 set nos, so it end up to 22 set of nos"

In that case what is the maximum sets of nos you will clone in a PTX plus the 20 sets of fixed nos?

can it be go for 20 nos + 10 clone nos = 30 nos or more than 30 nos.

wish to hear a favorable feedback from you
