Apologies I've not been around to reply recently, it's been very busy and all the extra emails and PM's and phone calls all take time
The good news is we're catching up!

Hi Terry,

After trying the I-PT with succes I just ordered a Stealth PT for my M18. It looks awsome and if it works like the I-PT I had, would be great.

Hi Frans, good to hear about your i-PT. I'm sure a tiny stealth PTX transponder will go well in your M18. Thanks for your order, it'll be shipped next week as I'm not in the office right now.

Please read the information regarding UK postal services.

UK Postal Strikes
There is currently industrial action with postal workers in the UK which is causing disruption to postal services.
Orders are currently being held and will be shipped when the postal service resumes next week. There are also
problems with deliveries for incoming mail from the UK and overseas which is also causing delays.

Good News
The UK post seems to be getting back to normal for the time being at least.
We've started sending out orders and received mail the last couple of days.

I have a AMB PT that I want cloned 3x. When I get the clones back will they have 11#'s on them? 10 Club numbers and my personal? If so, that would be great.

Also do you still make the clones for the AMB-20 system? how much in US$ are they.

Thanks

From what Terry told me the cloned PTX will have 21 #s.

Are the 20 extra numbers the same for everyone?
Curious to why are they added anyway? If I have a unique AMB personal number, I should never conflict with anyone else.

Hi trailranger, as V12 says you will have 21#'s, your cloned ID# plus 20 extra standard numbers.

Regarding the T1-10 transponders for the AMB20 system, we have not had any stock due to problems with the supply of components but they should be available again very soon. The price is 49 GBP in the UK which is around $80-$90US Dollars depending on the /$ exchange rate.

Hi James, the 20 extra numbers are the same for everyone, like having two sets of 10 ID#'s similar to handout (loaner) transponders. It's like that because we add a cloned number to the 20 already available. With the new PTX versions there will be 20 plus a 'custom' PID#. Having the extra numbers means it's possible to have separate timed runs in practice by changing the ID between each run.

Sorry I missed your post. If you need more cloned transponders take a look at www.rclaps.com and check out the clone order form then let us know (by Email/PM etc) the custom options you'd like: LED/Lead/Base and how many. We will let you know when your order is ready and arrange payment before shipping. The details are on the form, the turn around for custom transponder orders is about a week plus the shipping time to you.

After reading this entire thread there is one drawback that I see coming up over and over again. Shipping the original AMB PT to you in the UK so you can 'read' or upload the signal from the PT. Would it be worthwhile to set someone up in the U.S. with the required equipment to read or scan the signal? After that is done, can the signal be saved to a file and then sent to you by some secure means? I.E. FTP site. I notice that once someone sends you their PT and you 'read' the signal or number that you have it stored away. This leads me to believe saving the signal to a file of some kind is possible.

This would allow U.S. customers the option of shipping their PT to someone in the U.S. for scanning, with a much quicker turnaround, and may allow more drivers the option of buying the PTX with the cloned # option.

If this is all possible, I volunteer and I'm sure we could work out a very amicable arrangement to cover the time requied to fulfill this duty.

Hi Bobby, YGPM. Please PM with your CV re the above, it is a possibility.
...any word on this option? That could be cool..and quite a savings...

For a standard PTX the lead length is 190mm with a red LED.
