For those unfamiliar with MRT products, their workmanship is amazing and their ideas are brilliant. My son is using an ipt for almost a year and it has worked flawless, never missed a lap.

Hi, you need to go to the website at www.rclaps.com print off the PTX Custom /Clone PDF order form and fill in the details then send the form along with your original AMB PT to our address on the bottom of the form.. and that's it! We'll contact you for payment when your order is ready.

Most overseas customers prefer to pay by PayPal. We recommend you send your PT with some form of postal insurance/tracking for peace of mind.

Hi Terry, I sent you my AMB PT to be cloned and all is working great (I was the guy at Barham National who you spoke to regarding my sticking the I-PT on the end of the servo ), If I wanted another clone, either PTX or I-pt, will you still need my PT returning or do you have the information so I can just order another one?

Other than size and cost, what would be the benefit of getting a PTX over an I-PT?

Thanks
Skiddins

For the lead on the PTX, does the length include the plug, or is it just the length of the wire from the transponder case to the plug?

Since the lead is replaceable, if I order it long can I cut it to the length that I want when I get it?

Thanks!

Hi Skiddins, you're not the only one who's mounted the transponder on its side.. flat to track is best for a strong signal to the loop!

If you want another clone you just let us know, if you want a different custom spec you'd need to let us know the details (as on the custom order form) in either case you don't need to send your PT back.

The benefit of a PTX over an i-PT is mainly smaller size and a lower price, the other benefit is the PTX has a 3 hole tab base option.

Hi Haagar, the length of the lead includes the plug, it's the overall length from the case to the end of the plug.

By removing 4 screws on the base you can cut the lead to the length you want. The normal lead length is 195mm (same as AMB PT's) if you order a custom/clone version you can order the length you want up to 200mm maximum.

Hi pdungadamo, yes a clone costs more because the ID number has to be 'read out' and it's custom made for your order.

Do the PTX's have different case colour options like the iPT's?

Cheers
