Thanks everyone, no more news right now but it's not too far off things are progressing well!

Hi smojoe, it's possible to have the two plus the 'set' of 10, you'd then have 12 numbers to choose from.

Thanks for the reminder Andrew

Hi Sparx, yes you can still order i-PT's using the form at www.rclaps.com
Send the completed form along with your original AMBrc PT.

Can you make me a custom transponder that sends a PWM signal through the yellow line to a servo plug whenever a lap is registered? I need it for a project of mine.

An issue not brought up is this.

Customer sends in pAMB to be cloned. After getting his original and stealth, he unknowingly sells his pAMB to another local racer. Or, in turn sneakily sell his pAMB to someone across the nation in hopes he will never have to worry.

I guess Im saying other than hoping for honest johns, whats to stop someone from doing the above unless they agree to allow you to deactivate their original AMB?

Im not a ROAR member, but curious as to whether these types of third parties would be allowed at say national or even world events?

This has been discussed in the ipt thread

I think you will find they have already (iPT's) been used at some major events.

Yes the PTX is closer now. There's the 10 number version, 20 number version (with 2 sets of 10 numbers) plus the custom version with a cloned number (like the i-PT) and also a club version cloned from a club handout transponder. More details and prices to follow.

Here's some photos of the PTX

Yes ipt's have been used at national events, ROAR addressed this in their latest rules as well, basically if there is a conflict the person in possesion of the original AMB tranponder "wins".

Ed and HarshGuy thanks for your help!

More photos! PTX with and without AMB mounting holes, also underside showing the base which can easily be removed to replace the lead or to renew tabs etc.

CountryHick, the power lead can be replaced by removing the base, you just need to undo four screws! A new lead can be fitted without affecting the waterproofing.

We're now just about ready to start production. Prices and ordering information to follow..
aus jd 2703 and tl2111 you'll have to wait a little bit longer
