Well since we are having a brushless controller comparison I am going to throw out my little opinion. I ran and still do LRP Spheres, and yes I am very tired of running back and forth from the post office getting them replaced. So during a race weekend I was out 2 spheres in my off road 4wd buggy and the shop only had the Castle Creations product. All I can say is I have had great success with that ESC. It never thermals, the choices of motors is always expanding because they can run the new Orion/Peak motors, and I can really dial in a personal feel with the usb port and Castle Link software. I can spend a very limited amount of time dialing in the throttle and brake curve with my laptop and poof test it on the track 1 min. later. How does everyone else feel about Castle's product? Since it isn't raced by the pro's it seems to not get the headlines but I feel for what is currently available it performs well, has a manageable case size, and is most importantly reliable. I have not used Novak's esc because it plain doesn't fit in my buggy with the fan but I can get the Mamba to feel every bit as good as my LRP esc's.

I know that I am going to go through growing pains when I do go brushless but I hope that I don't run into issues to where I am mailing my product back to the manufacturer every week. lol Not to laugh at your pain at all but it's just my luck.

I have never ran Novak products in my car, not because they don't make good products, I know for a fact that they do. It was always something about the orange that I could never get used to. lol

But I have heard nothing but good things about the NOvak Brushless systems and I believe that they are the only ones with a 10.5 (19turn equiv) at the present time. Now that may change by the time the IIC is over but it only makes sense. Please keep putting your opinions and experiences in because that is the only way to be informed. Thanks guys.

i was never a novak fan either (ran LRP Q2 and the KO) but my first impression was to go to the GTB's - best decision ever IMO. i've bought 3 systems now (2 in cars, 1 for a back up) and they have worked flawlessly.

Go brushless and never look back!
