There are a dozen or so in this forum alone... do we really need another?

Well.. i was hoping the thread could be used for people to discuse what they are actualy using and share setups etc etc.. rather than the lipo vs nimh and legalization discusions that are going on in the other threads.

but oh well.. thanks for the flames.. i spose they all add to your post counts at the end of the day.. i guess i have lost track of what forums are about.. silly me thought it was a place to discuse ideas...

Would be a good idea to have a thread with pro's and con's rather then, Hey WOW look at my post count

My 2 cents

Jay

PS: who wants to see my nutz?

No flames at all. There are THOUSANDS of posts in these forums about LiPos and setups. I have spent the last few months reading them all, so I know they are out there. It doesn't take a lot of effort to find them, just some patience and time. Starting a new thread just fractures the usable information up even more.

Do what you want, though... it's a free forum.

If you don’t consider that a flame then at the least its rude and unnecessary... there are plenty of fractured threads about particular chassis but does the person who starts a specific chassis thread get flamed?

I too have read many of the threads discussing lipo but when i stated that i could'nt find a lipo thread i ment a specific lipo discussion thread.

If any mod's happen to read this thread could i ask it gets cleared up and given a fair go.

Cheers,

Ben.

Not unnecessary, obviously, because you are starting a thread of a topic that has a LOT of content already being discussed, after stating that you "could'nt find one so thought i would start one." If you couldn't find any, you obviously didn't try very hard or you overlooked the SEARCH feature of the forums. It was hardly rude—I was merely pointing out how simple it would be if you found recent and current threads that were already well established by showing you what the SEARCH button looked like here.

Try these for starters...

Platinum Lipo

Team Orion 3200mAh Race Spec LiPo

Lipo Awareness

Lipo Legalization

MaxAmps Lipo Thread!!

LIPO ADVANTAGE?

3800 lipo vs 6000 lipo runtime

That was a 20-second search on two forums here, and those are only the very large threads on the subject. But if you feel the need to start another one, then by all means, go right ahead—but don't get all cranky when someone tells you that this thread is a duplicate.

That was not a flame! A flame includes an insult somewhere stupid! LOL! j/K ! people need not be so touchy, people use to be tough in this country, now everyone has sand in their underwear. WHat Happend?

To be honest there are a couple other threads that arent a debate. Just take your time to find them.
What happens is instead of looking through 5 threads now there will be 10. While half the useable info is spread out and its more complicated to do research..

GO ahead and flame!!!!

There is an active "LiPo Legalization" Thread with a lot of good discussion on it. Lets let this one die and keep all the talk on the other thread.
