Any idea what the top 3 fastest mod guys are using in terms of motor and battery? i.e- brushed or brushless, and 5 or 6 cell.

Only 3 heats of mod touring? 21 drivers total! OMG! That is pretty sad.

Pretty much all the front runners are running 5 cell setups

The entire AE team is running brushless

Xray: Barry and ray brushed. Ralph and I Novak brushless... I think paul has been switching back and forth but I think he's settled on brushless for now.

Corrally: Toso Novak Brushless, Blackstock and Dayger brushed.

I am pretty sure the scumacher guys are all 5 cell brushed as well.

Clint Riley (of Losi fame) is running brushless but I think he's running a 6 cell setup.

I believe the top 5 qualifiers all ran SMC matched IB4200's.

Top 10 mod guys are all running 5-cell. All of AE is on LRP Vector Brushless. Several are running Novak brushless. Barry TQ'd with Checkpoint brushed, and a couple others are running brushed.

Default Nat's pics

Just so that the 12th scale guys don't get left out... this is copied over from the 12th scale forum.

Hey guys, I took some shots of the cars filling up the a-mains at nat's. The grip has been super high at SIR, so you may see some things you may not ordinarly see on an asphalt car. I'll let you be the judge.
