Yea that's what Advil (our tech manager at last year's asphalt nats) is saying i.e. as long as there is unobstructed view into the car. I've seen lots of paint jobs with paint onto the windows, this guy likes to do it a lot: http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=36059 ...I can't say that I specifically remember seeing a car with paint on the windows at a nationals, but not like I was looking for that per-se.

Hopefully Dawn can get me an official answer today, got a crazy week this week + 4th of July right smack in the middle of it, and flying out Friday to SIR so I gotta start packing today. ...speaking of, it's 4:45am and I don't see Dawn's official reponse back yet

well.....

I guess I'll just make that executive decision.. based on what you showed me in photos... as long as that's all thats over the clear window portion, I would say okey dokey.

But.... if you have misrepresented those in any way... (LOL)... your dead meat!

Doug Papka - please let me know you read this.

Kewl ..thank you , no misrepresentaion, in fact I would assume that after hitting the walls numerous times there will be less paint than shown on the windows by the end of the race

Woah... Hold those horses!! Doesn't that part of the rulebook get patrolled by whomever the person running Tech is?
Lets just say, take out those 40 band receivers, be careful how much paint is on the windows, be prepared to pull motors all weekend, etc, because I do know first hand who is running the Tech area and even if Dawn says it's OK, you just don't want to piss off the Tech Guys!!
