If I were attending this as the official, I would say yes as I always try to get there early for check ins. Randy Holst is the schedule official and I'm not sure of his work schedule. He will be there Wednesday for sure though.

When wil the extra motors for stock and 19T be available for purchase?
Thursday. At the off road electric nats, that worked out great to make sure everybody got their motor with entry first and then opened up additional sales.

Is practice on Wed/Thu going to be controlled by heats, or open practice? Answered
Thanks for the answers, and I don't mean it to be flaming or slaming in anyway, just trying to plan my vacation as much as possible, unfortunately that is one of my faults ...a "type A" planner.

Sorry Dawn, but I do have another question ....seems as there's some dicsussion in my neck of the woods as to weather bodies I had painted up are actually ROAR legal, I assumed they were, however the windows do have paint on them, the particular rule in question is:

10.1.8 Bodies must be painted except for window areas, which must be clear or open. No tinting of windows is allowed.

And here is some pictures of the paint on the windows.

In a related qestion, is it legal to use a different wing than what comes with the kit? Specifically the Protoform #1719-00 High downforce lexan 190mm wing.

those are some nicely painted bodies.... if it were me, I wouldn't push that part of the rule to mean what you guys are inferring... but, I'm not gonna be there. So, I will inquire to the RMT team going and see what they think...

lousy answer, I know... but I would hate to say ok, then they say no and then you say but Dawn said and then they say Dawn's not here and you say lets call Dawn and then I don't answer the phone cuz I'm going on vacation that week.....

see my dilemma?? LOL

OK, yea I have seen others painted up that way, and it really doesn't obstruct view into the car which is why the paint/tint window rule was created I would imagine ...is there anyway you can find out by tomorrow :-) ....if I can't use these bodies I won't bother packing them ya know!!

Harsh, those front fenders look a little wide too, has the Hendrics team been working on them?

That rule was in effect when I was at carpet nats in 06... and now one gave me any guff about the bodies. I had a little bit of graphics on the rear window becauuse they trailed off the roof of the car.

I didn't feel it impacted the Tech guys ability to see "into" your car.

Yea that's what I always took that rule to be for, but we'll wait and see what the official ruling is.
