You are right. I had forgotten that no one submitted the EP cell last year in its red/black shrink. The Fusion power cell in carbon/flame shrink is the same cell but was badged for Fusion when they were in business.

Do they have their own shrink wrap or the EP shrink wrap? Its kinda strange that they would be listed under the slingshot name unless it says that on the Shrink. Usually it goes by the manufacture on the shrink...

What they have listed on their website is the normal EP shrink with their sticker on the cells. It does seem kinda odd that they are listed under the Slingshot name. Could be a shrewd business move to have only your matched cells approved.

I have already emailed Dawn S. about the LRP X11 Vector Brushless motors to see if they had been approved. She said the LRP and Orions had been approved, but was not sure why the list had not been updated yet and she was going to look into that.

And I did... and the motor has been technically approved... some administrative issues that I clearly don't understand are why its not on the list yet. I can't believe Theilke hasn't called me yet....LOL

anyway, I'm working on a clear and concise answer to this.....

BTW - waiting until 7/1 to enter this event is really not a good plan... we are ordering tires and trophies.... today and tomorrow... and tires are preorder only. There won't be any for sale for racing other than on the entry flyer.

Quick question. Im going to send in my entry form tomorrow. Does it have to arrive on July 1, or can it be post stamped before July 1?
Also can my parents write a check? if so make out to who?

It has to ARRIVE at ROAR prior to the deadline date. Postmark does not count. I would overnight if you could. Today is the 26th and depending where you live.. it could take up to five to seven business days.

Orion Brushless has not been sent in for approval. Work is being done right now to get it done in time... but that's pretty quick... like a day or so.

Also, EP4200 cells ARE ROAR LEGAL. The wording on the ROAR approval list is incorrect... that's getting adjusted but in the meantime, the cells are approved for ROAR nationals. All approvals have been done per the rules on the cells and per the ROAR rules.

Couple of quesions:

• When will the ROAR tech equipment and such be available? i.e. so we can "dial in" our legal body mounting, wings, weight, etc.
• Will there be "early checkin" e.g. Tuesday evening for any of us there by then?
• When wil the extra motors for stock and 19T be available for purchase?
• Is practice on Wed/Thu going to be controlled by heats, or open practice?
