I know a few guys tested before the Reedy in 19 turn with 5 cell and when using a higher RPM motor (KD, new Orion) the 5 cell was faster. But with the Reedy motor you simply can not get enough RPM out of them to make up the difference in lost voltage.

Yep, had a brand new set on yesterday. 4 - 5minute runs and still have the center rib showing and my car was in drift mode all day! LOL

So whats the deal? Typically there is more talk about a national event from the major manufactures. I hope everyone will be showing up... I know there will be a good showing from Xray.

This track is really cool and unique. It's a little smaller than previous tracks, but it will be a true test to separate the men from the boys. The traction is great, and with the removal of the berms, the track has a lot more room for track layouts, and passing room .

I feel it's a greet venue for a national event, and I'm really looking forward to the race. I'm sending in my entry tomorrow

Improvements going in every day. Lots of painting done. Scott, Jeff and Doug were working on the track today. SIR was great before but will be even greater as we close in on the event. Still lots to get done.

as most of you know I have been racing for 20 years now...

and I cant say enough about how cool SIR is!!!the track is so fun to race on!!!

It is in a new building, has clean bathrooms, a great positive owner and staff, and the best chili-cheese nachos I have ever had!!!

FOR THE FACTORY TEAMS: you guys get the SIR pit area! it has a projected screen on the main wall showing what is going on on the track, and TV's on either side of the screen with speed-channel going most of the time...

the main pits for this race will be very nice! and way closer to the track then pitting in your room at a hotel race like snowbirds or cleveland...

just trust me everyone...if you miss this one you will regret it after you hear how awesome it was!!!!

its breaks my heart that I wont be able to race at Nats....I have to work that week but thats the way life goes...

and my offer still stands for any outa towners that need a place to stay for the Nats! I have room for 2! just shoot me a pm...
