Default M8 programming question

Heya, I got a used M8. It did come with a photocoppied manual but it seems incomplete. I have a question about the response functions

Does a +10 steering response move quicker than having the response system off? ie. Is response "off" = "0" or "+10" in the response settings?

Correct +10 makes it respond quicker and -10 would make it slower you are correct.

I meant, if the response system was off, would that be equal to 0 or +10? One of the guys said that the response system off was as fast as response on at +10. I thought that sounded wrong, just wanna know.

I have a tip for you- the Expo is a handicap. Use it to help you learn to turn smooth and consistent, then as you get better, you can begin to reduce the expo and the only thing you will be adjusting is the dual rate. The reason I know this is because any tiem one of my sponsored or factory buddies drives my car, the first question they ask is: "are your settings linear or close to linear? 'Cause I don't like any curve programmed in..."

So there you go- one of those questions you would love to ask the factory guys, but never get a chance.

It's funny how you buy a high-dollar computer radio for the multitude of settings, then after you learn to drive well, you use very few of them....lol

Ahh, thats what I wanted to know. Here's another question. Since the M8 came out, how many revisions has there been? How can you tell which edition/version you have?
