Default Servo Wire

Hey guys, im having a hard time trying to purchase servo wire.

Im looking at rewiring my servo and ESC with new wire BUT here's the tricky part. Im looking for all three wires (red, black and white) to be black.

Any info would be great.

Regards

Ari

I'm not sure they make all black servo wire. There is a reason for the different colors after all. So you wire it up correctly and don't blow something up. That'd be hard to manage if they were all the same color.

you have 3 options:

- you can buy black cable in the thickness you want, and lay each of the 3 cables seperately, and after you have finished, glue them together to get one servocable *tricky to get it looking good*

-you can paint your cable with tamiya ps-5 or similar

-you can buy and lrp sensorcable :-) there are 2 servocables in it, who are all black

Here's a good source for servo wire, connectors, etc., although after re-reading your requirements I don't think they have all black servo wires. Maybe they can still help you:

Here's another site, good luck!

Hobby shops usually have servo extensions in stock. Just cut off the other end and use it as a new servo lead. I think the black sharpie idea will work. Hate to see if wired wrong, so maybe wire it first, then blacken.

Check out "robot" servo lead wires. They are available in all black.

sharpie seems to turn the white wire purpleish. Not black.

For larger quantities, though not all black:

That Hitec connector is totally sweet, though. I'm gonna have to rewire!
