The TC3's at our track have been pretty fragile. If you have to mailorder everything, I suggest you either go for a strong car or get plenty of extra spare A-arms.

Most of todays cars are able to win a lot. It's about driving skills and a good setup. As far as I know, the XXX-S is easy to setup, and therefor going fast. But of the 3 you mention and with your no-money-limit, I would go for Evo3.

Ok thanks for that info....I might go for the Losi and will get a few spares when i order it.....
I've been looking at the Hacker BL Motors and will probably be running one of those in there as well...The longer run times makes them very attractive. I will get the C40 8T motor.

Yep, supporting the local is important to keep the sport alive. No tracks and clubs, no fun

I'd say the associated L2 or L2O if it is electric.

traxxasdude he's talking about touring cars

I'd go with TC3. They really aren't that fragile. The losi is a much more fragile car (I've owned both, I know). However both are capable of winning anywhere. The shaft drive gives you instantaneous acceleration, too.

Every car breaks at some point if you hit stuff. I'm running a C4 and it bends rather then breaks(the result I had to bend the pins back into shape because my the HS near me didn't carry parts and I had no spares). Go to your LHS and make sure they have parts for the car you want because when you have 15 min's to fix your car for the next race, and it's going to take 10 min's to actually do the work to fix it, LHS's become invaluable. If the HS had had the parts I would have bought ten of those bloody pins right then and there(and wouldn't have minded paying 5% more), now I have to go to corallyusa.com and wait a week and a half for parts = missing races or running races with a screw'd up suspension which isn't very satisfying. I used to think the way you do, now I'm the opposite.

HPI Pro2 dont break

I've seen TC3's breaking A-arms by just touching the boards. And the ball bearings are fragile too.

Just checked out the hobby shops in my area today and none of them sell Losi or Team Associated gear. They can get it in if i order especially but it would take a week or so to get anyway....They said that the supplier that imports these are very bad to deal with...Ummm. I might as well stay with ordering things from overseas from what i discovered today...

I brought a Traxxas Bandit for my step brother today from a toyshop because they had one left and were clearing it out for cost price

Great, I will take a spin up there in a few days time, I know where that is. I drive past it every 2 weeks when i go to Wynnum slot car centre.....

Thanks buddy.

Just wish Losi and Team Associated were more popular here in Australia so shops would stock them.

Alan.
