Default Power suply

I was wondering if any one has tried stripping down the cord on a xbox 360 and figuring out which wires do what? It is a 16.5 amp 12v power suply that can be purchased for $30. It has 6 output wires stranded togather and I am just wondering if any one has messed around with one before I try to figure it out.

There are a lot of people that have made dc power supplies out of computer power supplies. You may find them by doing a search on these boards or even googling it, if you're lucky the wiring diagrams might be similar.

I seem to recall there was a problem with the XBox 360 power supplies overheating - maybe it's been fixed
