Had some good weather today so I pulled the car out for some quick runs. After hooking up, and turning on I am getting no response from the throttle although steering is fine. Battery runs my other car with GTB with no problem. The car ran just fine last week as well.

When I first hit the switch, the fan didn't turn and the fan got a bit warm so I unplugged it. No leds came on on the GTB. Turned on while pressing the setup button and got no led. I finally got the fan to run when the switch is turned on but no matter what I do, no lights on the ESC. What could have happened after running perfect and cool last week that would cause this? Is the ESC likely shot?

Only thing you might try is shorting out the on switch?
If you unplug the on switch and cross the terminal it might tell you if the switch is good?
I Assume you have tried reprogramming it?

I tried the switch from another GTB I have and no improvement. I held the setup button while turning on and no leds come on like the other. The only response I get is the fan does come on. I am assuming that it needs replacement but I guess I'm really surprised it worked so well last week and stored then does not even move this week. And it never got more than warm last week.

Yesterday just before a race I had the same thing happen to my Tekin G12, sure it's almost a decade old but the previous Saturday and even a few days into the week it ran like a champ.

Off for non-warranty replacement then. It looks like Novak will upgrade the old model for the newer ones for about the same price. Time to pick up their spread spectrum model.
