One-way diff slipping........HELP!!!

I had found out that my one-way diff occasionally slips on the right side thus causing the car to steer to da right upon acceleration......the one-way only slips once in a while and its a heck of a problem during race.......

Is there any other solution to fix this problem besides buying a new set of one-way diff????

Check if the one-way outdrive is worn. Borrow one from a friend and check whether the one-way bearing is still gripping the outdrive.

Did u mean the cup joint??? If so yes I've tried exchanging the left one with the right one.....and the problem persis......

Oh crap now I've discovered both side behaves the same.....they slip once in a while.........

Try borrowing a newer diff joint from a friend. It might be that only the joint cups need replacing.

assume both of the outdrive (cup joint) are ok as per your test info,
then it would be the right side bearing which is wear out

Would it be ok if I were to put some glue on the shaft so that the bearing wud stick to it instead of slipping???

dont put glue, the one way will not work as intended, it will be similar to a spool.

Try taking it apart and rebuilding, replacing all the parts with wear, and rebuild with a good lube and replace the blades (if you have them) on the Cvds

Ok dude give the da step by step......I'm new to this car as my previous car does not have a one way diff.........

Btw, is there suppose to be any lubricant or grease on the cup's shaft???

Yep get some one way lube and lube the one ways after cleaning they are probably gunked up and not locking up.

Light oil will probably also suffice - not grease

inside the one way... between the cups and the one-way bearings. you can buy one-way bearing specific grease or use diff grease
