Dear Fellow Rc members,

I recently bought the tire additive to try on the indoor carpet race. I would appreciate if anyone have tried it and give me some feedback how to apply it. Whether this is good for carpet or tarmar. Pls. share your exprience on this new product. TQ

Theres two kinds of Muchmore Tyre Sap (Red&Blue), both are formulated for rubber tyre carpet racing.

The Blue Sap is for low traction conditions (provides more traction), Red Sap is for high traction conditions (provides less traction).

Start off by leaving applying it maybe 20mins before your race to all tyres and wiping off 5mins before you hit the track.
From that you'll get an idea of how the addatives working, and you can alter your application routine from there.

Thanks for the info. Do you use tire warmer or just run after you apply 20min? I will try your method and try to adapt it to our local track.

Usually tyre warmers aren't needed so much indoors, as traction's usually pretty high, but if your struggling for traction and you've played with the addative rountine a little then they'd be the next step to try.

I belive the blue is for asphault, and the red is for carpet, but as for application coat the outside of the tire, let is set for 15 min, or bake in with tire warmers for 15 min. Find out what people at your track do, that is the easiest way to get good feedback. Most likely you need to adjust your car if you cant get traction on carpet.

i used this stuff at Seattle Indoor Raceway (www.seattleindoorraceway.com - indoor asphalt, high traction). it worked great for me. i used red up front, and blue in the rear! and cooked it in with tire warmers.
