Go with one of these. I don't know your budget but this is the way to go.
The Novak systems have a wide variety of compatibility with a wide variety of motors. You just cant go wrong with the Novak systems.

First !
Both Novak and the Lrp...

Are great performing system`s ...

Lrp Competition ESC

* fewer wire`s and does not require a fan ....

*smaller and easier to fit in your ride

*easier to switch between brush and brushless (auto detect)

* Li-Po cutoff standard

The 5.5 X-11 is hand wound and has oversize ft bearing...

The LRP Sphere Competition TC spec works really well. Highly recommended.

For the top guys as well. Check the results from the TCM Masters end of April.
In the A final, 8 of the 10 drivers used this speedo... including Paul Lemieux.

Default The only reason....

It's the footprint of the GTB and wire assembly that is causing people grief. If some folks would take a few extra minutes, they would pick the GTB over LRP any day of the week! No need for a fan? Please. Anything that uses a heatsink can benefit from a fan. Does anyone complain about Hara running a fan on his motors? Or Losi with the double fan on their JRXS? Only when Novak does something do the complaints surface. Well poof you haters. My Novak GTB/3.5 rules! Ran with 1/8 scales this past weekend and came in third in a 30 minute race. I dare one of you cats to TRY that with any LRP set-up!

Default GTB

Go with all Novak GTB. The sphere's footprint is nice and the wiring is cleaner if you need to run brushed motors.
But LRP's quality and US customer service is way below par (not sure how your C.S. is over in AU).
I've been thru two spheres comp 07s, 1 burned out a 13.5 motor (same gearing as a GTB setup) the other 1 bad material, purchased at the same time so probably made in the same batch.

Not one of my past GTBs had quality issues (I've had 3).

I'm not sponsored by anyone or have any mfg hookups...my pocket speaks for me.
