Default Pictures/Info on Permanent Asphalt Tracks

1) Older rough Asphalt, where the tops of the gravel have been exposed, but not so much where the surface is breaking up. If you have never raced on this type of surface, you don't know what you are missing.

2) As a second choice, rough Asphalt that has been resealed, but the overall surface is still faily rough. A VERY good cleaning is needed to optimise the grip.

3) Third choice would have to be lightly brushed Concrete (NOT polished smooth). Usually different Tires are needed, but the traction is excellent when warm and clean.

4) Last choice is Smooth Sealed Asphalt. Hard to find grip without a perfectly clean track surface and traction additives. Even then the grip is not as good as the previous 3 surfaces.
