Is this thread really needed? You've already have a thread regarding basically the same question. Buy whatever you can get cheapest in your LHS, and make sure it's a car they will keep on stocking parts for...

I would say they are both pretty much the same car. Tub chassis kits that is.
I would lean towards the TC4. Its good on asphalt and they have a conversion for carpet. And parts are always handy with Associated.

The stock TA-05 is good with asphalt racing and very affordable but check to see if parts are available.

1 more thing if you plan to buy new I would wait on the TC5.
If you buy a TC4 I would buy it used.
