Hey,
I am one of the guys coming from colorado.

I got a question about the tire width of the 1/12th scale tires.
When me and rcdan were looking through the roar handbook and in the hanbook for the champs its states maximum width for any tire on 12 scales is 38mm. On all brands that i have available to me ( TRC, CRC, PSE, and JACO) were all wider by a large margin.
The CRC high rollers we measured at about 44mm and they are the skinniest ones we measured.

So what about every tire company not following the guidelines, and what should we do about it?

Basicly roar needs update these rules badly!! Yes all current rear tires are wider then that and they are allowed at roar races.your only concern is to make sure your car isn't too wide.the car needs to fit in the width box other then that no worries about the tire width.

not sure which dimension you guys are measuring, but we just measured a couple dozen pair of CRC rear tires, and all are right around 38mm wide +/- .1mm
