well these are a new version of the orion core motor that just got into the states I have only managed to dyno tune one not run one.the numbers looked decent very close to co27.

From another person that has one after playing with it a little he was able to turn simular laps with one. So that is as much info I can personally give you at this time.

New version? isn't it the same motor that stormer have for sale now? if it is the same motor then you might want to gear up 2-3T because it is more on the torque side than the Co27 but the rev is on the lower side, and the motor get real hot you might see up to 230 deg but if you gear it properly you will go just as fast as the with the Co27, now if you could find a way to get the motor running cooler and still have the power you could do some damage out there.

The last I had heard from mr.bill which was about a week ago No that is the old one and that the motors for the champs weren't in the states at that time.So I doubt highly that stormer has this motor but I will check on it.

If this is a motor that noone at the race has ever run that would be awesome.

Ok yes it is the same one that is currently available at stormer there has been bit of misunderstanding but I got all figured out now lol. This one seems to be different from the ones I have from a few years back so it looks new to me lol.I guess I have seen too many motors.

Anyway I think motor is very simular to the co27 I think. the numbers I was able to get out of it were darn close to my blueprinted co's that I have around.I think if you play around enough you can get co numbers out of them.I can't speak on how hot it will or won't get.I will take your word on that as I haven't ran it yet.I have no time to do so with all the champs stuff right now.But I found taking 5 thousands off both edges and drilling a hole in the brush works well with green springs to start off and F brushes. And that is my hint for the day lol

I have an older version of the Core Stocker....If I might suggest ...bring some of the small yellow capacitors to solder on the motor since they do not have the handy little circuit board on the endbell like the CO27 and other Trinity based motors do...

The Core stock has pre installed surface mount capacitors (Orion was the first to offer this feature BTW). They are not installed on a circuit borad like other motors, but they are there. You do not need additional capacitors but it is always good to have some exteras handy just in case you have any interference problems.
