Default reversed steering

a little help please..... just got a hpi sprint 2... however, with my servo in the steering is reversed..( turn left car goes right and vice-versa) is there a way to change the way the servo turns via the wiring? failing that, does anyone know how to undo the ball joints on the tie rods so i can re-arrange them to suit the servo?

cheers guys,

when you look at the servo from the right side of the car, the servo horn should be facing you and be on the left side.

I drive reverse When I started 7 years ago with this hobby I don't know how to work the radio so I just learned to drive it reverse. Up to this day I'm driving my car with a steering on reverse. I tried to drive the right way but my brain is just so used to it now so I just left the way it is.

I got that way with an old computer game, by default the up/down was reversed, you push up the nose goes down, then I got another different game which was reversed and I couldn't play it

point number 4. if i swap them around, and same on the other side it should work proper, i just can't work out how to pull the ball cup off the ball joint without bending something.. your pic shows what happens when i turn right on my control.

Use a fork, or something similar to pull it off.

One prong either side and just lever it off.

I usually grab mine with pliers on the plastic part and lever it off.

well it would seem that my idea was a complete flop.... of course, the linkage still moves the same way so why would the steering change????? DUH!!!!!! guess i'd best be going with the first idea, if i change the wiring to my servo, maybe swap two around, could that do it?

if you wanted to attempt to reverse your servo, it can be done, but you need to swap 2 wires on the motor and wires on the potentiometer, I think it's on the hitec website how-to.
