Default LRP Sphere 2007- whats going on in the US?

don't know if this should be directed to Area 51 (AE) or LRP? Thunder Tiger?

Q2 discontinued way to early, Q3 still not out. didn't go thru that when they transitioned from Q1 to the Q2?

Sphere Comp also discontinued early, Sphere Comp 007??? got to get them from overseas....why?

When do we get to see the Sphere TC for sale over here?

Pulsar Comp 2 or 3......?

Is it LRP or Associated (the us importer of LRP)?

The Tekin R1 Pro can't get here soon enough.

AE was/is the distributor for LRP in the US. Thunder Tiger owns AE now. one would presume AE LRP dealio would not change?

i'am just wondering why this crater void in products. products dropped with their replacements old or new not in stock. i'm not talking just 2-3 months either.

AE LRP TT

vas ist der dealio? do i need to go to a translator site to put the posts in the English, German, hell where is TT based out of?

i can get a TC Spec from overseas right now for $269, but that's not th problem or is $ a issue. reading about AE/LRP repair/replacements issues on hobbytalk or rctech, if i buy a TC Spec from overseas, i don't want to have to send it to Europe for repairs. because it's not in the pipeline/for sale here
i currently have a Q1 and Q2 and want a BL ESC.

This is annoying. I want to go brushless but am having trouble finding a decent speed control-in the uk
.

Default Customer Service sucks

For everyone, concerned with warranty issues.
Don't get a sphere or anything LRP.

Sent in a Sphere comp 07...only 1 1/2 weeks old ( so count the possible runs)
solder tab broke off on the positive.

After 3 1/2 weeks of waiting they called me up and said they can't replace the unit under warranty.

LRP implied I soldered incorrectly or had an impact.

funny...I never even soldered the connection....right from factory.
my tabs never face the outside of the chassis...ever..ever...

LRP stated the board used for solder points is as strong as carbon fiber....hahaha....if that were true we would running cars made from that material.

I told them to throw it away.....i refuse spend more money...on a defective unit.

LRP is not anything like the company is used to be....this seems to be more common with them.

I told them I would be posting in every forum I can to make sure everyone knows about their Customer Service.

Novak doesn't do this......I sent in a GTB to them....which I knew that I messed up....and they charged me the usual replacement fee...I had no problem paying...since it was my fault...
but I refuse to pay for something that is not.

I think most customer service issues are dealt more with distributors rather than the actual companies. Well at least thats the way it works here in the UK. All I have to say is that when I've had to send LRP stuff back Helger (now Horizon) have been brilliant at getting out a replacement very quickly.

funny you say that I just bought a GTB DSM out less then a week or two. was setting it up on the bench never even got to the car how I wanted to mount it couldn't see the lights. motor ran backwards. borrowed 5.5 from friend ran fowards and then smoked the speedo. I'll update on customer service when I send it back tomorrow.
I have 3 Quantum 2 and 1 quantum 1 last time I sent one back it took a couple weeks but I did get it back. buddy sent one in they said nothing wrong and sent it back and it still won't go into setup so he has to adjust his radio to get the right settings out of it. so I guess hit and miss.

I know of one QC3 in the states he told me that lrp is working on sphere and isn't doing anything with the QC3 he can't even get another one. and then I heard elsewhere that some "team" drivers are putting QC3 sticker on QC1 and 2s because they can't get them. most stock guys still live and die by the QC1 it has more punch.

If only you had the chance to try a 2007 Competition for just one club race .....

Then you would understand why you need one .....
