Default Checkpoint 19turn spec mod

How good are these motors? I would enjoy being able to run them for 30 or so runs between cuts, but will they keep up with the other power plants on the market today?

Also, if Duane or any of the other team guys are out there, I have been waiting for these for a while and I have now heard conflicting rumors about them. Are these motors fixed timing spec motors or adjustable timing motors that the oval guys use?

I'm crossing my fingers that this is a fixed endbell! I hope my wait wasn't in vein...

The 19t motor will be fixed 24 degrees of timing. It is also a machine wound and taged arm. It is considered a spec type 19t.

Yay!

You guys rock. I need Checkpoint power (and I suck too much to run modified). You see, I've had this facination with Checkpoint motors all the way back to 1983...

They are not out yet.....holiday season is probably to blame for the delay.....we will probably see them in the first part of the year. Everything I heard about it so far has been nothing but praise.....

So, good things come to those who wait....

We have just rec'd all of the new endbells and armatures. They will be released very shortly.

Eddie, Glad to hear that! The overwhelming success with the mod motor has delayed the 19t motor. It has to be perfect before it is released.

I don't care how much now.....30-40 runs without cut or replace brush REALLY get my money...........
So, will this 19T a LEGAL motor on regular club racing and ROAR approved? Like C2 or Reedy Quat?

Actually the Reedy motor is NOT roar legal and WONT be till they release a Mabuchi cross wrap armature for it or new motor.

The C2 is the only motor that is ROAR legal for Roar right now...
