Purple Endball Handouts

Purple Endball Handouts
Does anyone have any tuning tips for these motors? I picked up a motor box that had 4 of these in it, all are pulling a strong 7-9 Amps without a fan at 2v.
Hand1 8.91 (P+ P- 767+ 766-)
Hand2 7.97 (P+ P- F+ F-)
Hand3 7.33 (P+ P- F+ F-)
Hand4 6.87 (P+ G- F+ E-)
any tuning tips for touring would be nice, like gearing on a track where 100/36 is used for co27s.

They are essentually Monster Stocks. Just treat them like that and you will be fine.

Nothing wrong with Monsters for I still use them. I don't like the CO's in my buggy for I can't seem to find a gearing that works well with it, but love them in my truck. I have used both in my sedan and honestly for me, not that big of a difference. CO's are made to handle the higher voltage of the newer sub C cells but I honestly don't notice a big difference as far as speed. I have had some really good Monsters though. Handouts to this point have been nothing but Monsters anyhow. Not sure if the CO's will ever be handouts.

The CO27 was the stock handout at this years Birds for all stock classes. They are a strong running motor but as with any motor, There are good ones and there are better ones. Brush and spring'em like a monster but they will pull some serious gear. Don't worry too much about amp draw when tuning. Gear up the lower amp draw motors and they too will stroll.

OOPS, I didn't mean that to read like I'm a know it all. From what I've heard, The purple stock motors are no more after existing stocks are gone(they may be now as that was old news when I heard it), Some tracks were not allowing them to be used so to allow more use out of the race handouts, The Co's were offered. All of mine from the Birds are still strong and one of mine was bought last year from the Trinity booth at the race and it still is competitive at the local level. You gotta love that.
