We even tested our packs cycle life in lab, 30 cycles per day, the capacity is downing. after 200 cycles, the capacity lose 10-15%. but volt has a little higher.
Like that......

hi all, thanx for the very very quick reply.
i have orion 3700's atm, but they are not performing as they should they are about a year old and the only get 2800mah in them.
i have a protrak charger/dishcarger... is there any way i canbring them back to how they should perform. or at least make them better.

you 'd better charge them by 0.2C , then -10mV, discharg them by 0.2C , like this for 3 cycels, then charge them still by 0.2C, discharge them 5C, the next step is 0.2C charge, 10C discharge.
Now, I guess the pack 's capacity will back a little. pls try..... this method will help you......

Trying to race some 5 cell mod at the moment and i can't get my cells to last 5min. I'm using brand new Green Power 4500. charging @ 5amp.
If I can't get the cells to work, what will?

How to discharge them? 30A ? or higher?
Actually, there are two kinds of Sub-C cells, I means, same capacity, but same volt.
For example, there are two packs, both 4500mAh, but one Avg volt is 1.23V, but the other is 1.1V.
Of course you can run the first pack continously, but the other can not, if you discharging them by big current, the pack's volt will be low too quick, even can not going on supply power. but after resting 5mins, your pack will back the volt, it can going on work, but several mins after, the problem will back...... only like that.
For this kinds of pack, only can use in little kids ' toys.

Try going down a tooth or two on the pinion.
What class are you running ???
With a 4500mah pack you should have ample run time unless you running borderline in mod.

I'm running an LRP B/L @ a big out door track. the gearing is anywhere from 7.1 < 7.65 fdr.
I know the fdr is in the right place.
My discharge rate is 30Amp.
Going to try some LRP V-Tec 4200 big mama's. I've heard good things.

I'll be advising people not to waste there money on these Green Power 4500. Unless there using them in Mini Mardave's.
