Can anyone recommend a pinion and spur gear combo for a 27T setup ? In door carpet, main straight max 30 metres.

Hi Martin,

Start off with a 27t pinion. Should give your a final drive ratio of 8.75 (with standard 105t spur). That'll be close enough to start with.

if i use the front diff is ok,only when using the front spool the problem appears.

What type of wheel hub are you running and how many spacers, if any, are you using?

Hi there, may I know the height clearance between the main chassis and the top deck for the 05ms? Can it take a 28mm thick lipo pack?

Thanks.

yes and no, though.

the upper deck has 26-27mm clearance. stick the lipo out a little bit, you should be able to clear the upper deck.

Interesting to see how it compares to my TT-01, which is pretty well hopped up with diffs, one way etc. ( MRT Pro speedo is current away for service / repair )

MS

And my TT-01 ( 100 grams heavier than TA05ms )

Nice looking rides
