Anyone replacing their 415MSX with this kit? I am definately looking at this car to run 19t because I love my TA05. This kit might be the difference between a hopped up TA05 and racing against the 415's.

Nope, still the 415....albeit in MSXX version (certainly for invite).

Very nice link!

The TA05IFS "MS" has some very promising parts on it. I especially like the rear bulkhead with the cap style diff retainers. The aluminum IFS components are just YUMMY !!!!

One thing is certain. With this new batch of parts, the TA05 platform is here to stay for the forseeable future....MS, MSXXX, TRF special. TRF special w/ cheese, IFMAR 08 worlds edition........etc

My LHS doesn't dare to bring one to here... last time I've seen, he has a TRF415MSX for 495 !!!! Anyway, usual math here is 1 dollar = 1 pound... and then a plain conversion from pounds to euros... so 1 dollar = 1 pound = 1,48 euros.... while if you buy it directly, is something like 0,78 ... sad...

if you can manage to get one cheaper than champ in Europe, please let me know... but I think it's virtually impossible... I know for sure than tamiya stuff @ champ is cheaper than any place I know on UK, Spain, and DE.... if Finland is cheaper, perhaps I can take my vacations over there....

thanks;... I probably will.... the street price of the MS is expected to be close to the MSXX in the developed countries (on those where your LHS doesn't bite ) so I will expect something around 350 here in Europe (but Spain and UK that have pounds... hehehe) ...

I will take a deeper look at that store... perhaps it is a good deal after all!

cheers,
al

I think he's illustrating how expensive things are over here in England. Although the exchange rate is $2 = 1 we pay double for things!!! So if a new kit costs $350 in an American hobby shop, it will cost 350 in an English one, this is why many of us import stuff from the US/Asia.

This isn't just true of RC stuff, it expands to pretty much everything. On a recent trip to New York I found that pretty much everything was the same numeric value in $ as it was at home in . An evening meal NY: $20 here = 20, A T-shirt NY $20 here 20, shoes NY $80 here 80.

It means it's awesome when we go to the US as our 's go far! Not so good for you guys coming over here though!!!
