isn't 51t pinion with a 105t spur??? I don't know bro... But if ever, do you think that its (teeth of spur and pinion stick perfectly without any adjustments?)???

Tamiya has made wide pitch for less friction, less teeth on the pulley......"less contact." But this is marginal and has not proven big result in any event.

The easiest way for "you" to find out is take a Xray and what every else you are driving and Drag them.....tell us who get to the top end faster. I've done this so many times.....

Keep in mind about the "Ten Speed!"

you are the "final drive"

FDR 5.00 this is just your "Cap"
--------------- 2.25 to 1 IR Higher more work
___ ___ ___ ___ ___1.7 to 1 IR Lower less work

But believe what you want.....I have better my lap times and control the field with this conversion.......Not by the Final Drive for it has not change. Everyone always mention has much faster my cars are now.....

Ah, now the coin has dropped.

Anyway. On my cars (shafties) it have no oputunity to check this out, but in stock racing (23T) what i am doing, the higher (2,2) IR is not a disadvantage i think.

At the start, i almost overtake on or two cars, or drive out a few meters advantage before the first corner cames if i own the pole.

Anyway, maybe i will own a belt car also, then i go back to this topic.

THX, and greetings from Austria (not Australia)

Sir hebiki, kindly click on the link below to see the race track that I am talking about... Tell us what FDR you think would be suitable and better to tell what is our starting point going to be...

guys need help here.
is it normal for center shaft to have some play when attached to the motor mount? because when i set it to a much free setting it has some minimal play back and forth and up and down.. but when i set it to not much free( center pulley spinning with spur gear) it will not move up and down back and forth but you can feel that it has some drag. and i heard some clicking noise, and i think its the flanged bearings. how can i solve this probs? help please. thanks

Hi
Hopefully some one can help me, who has the kit already
I need the parts number for the stick pack battery holder. I need to install them on my penguin chassis to hold my orion 3200. The current side brace does not seem secure enough

Thanks
Rodney

you MIGHT have the pulley thats used for the diff. that is a different hole size than the one for the front.

Did you put the layshaft holder on the right way? One side is flat, and the other is raised in the middle. Put this raised side on the bearing, it it should be slop free. Be sure to use thread lock on that grub screw.

For the clicking noise, I think it's the king pin falling inside the shaft assembly. I used a small dab of anti wear grease to keep it in place.
