Hallo guys...
I just got to assemble my 05ms yesterday and fortunately didn't have any problems building it... Except for the battery holder post which I accidentally inverted the two with their perspective place... I thought it was the other way around for I didn't check that part of the manual carefully, then I thought it was really like that when good thin I tried to put the battery holdder when it doesn't fir perfectly to the post... Then I checked and looked at the manual carefully and then I just realized, I mixed the two battery post up... hahah... so changed them immediately... that basically it... Hope to soon test drive it...

Just want to give a race rapport of my darling the TA05MS.
Track condition is carpet rubber on low/mid grip with sorex 28r tires.
Added hop up is titanium coated shafts and alu/ titanium screws/turnbuckels. Additionally I use A Hara spring Hard/Super hard, that is a grade harder than tamiya blue/white. Square front upright/steering arms.
I copied my indoor MSXX Set up:
Oil: 400/500
Downstop 4/5
Chamber 1.5 dgr
Damper position Front 2, R 3(no busing/o-ring)
Upper arms spacer 4 mm front, 1 mm rear.
Rear upright spacer 2mm
Upper arm position F:2, R:1
Stabilizer front: Hard Rear. NONE
Wheel spacer 5mm+1mm
Spool
The car was tried with 19T orion, gear 102/35(6.55)
With the above set-up the car runs surprisingly well with lots of steer and grip. The car is very responsive and runs stabile on straight lines and in tight corners, a very easy car to drive.
Hovever the car has a tendency to over steer on off-throttle, but I expect that to be my settings. Also I find that the car has a tendency to "roll".
Wanting to make the car more competitive with less roll and faster I will change oil to 600/700 and move rear damper to 4. Perhaps put my anti-roll bar back on the rear and use er harder than supplied in the box
Any suggestions………………

Hey guys... I have questions... (Alec, hope you don't mind me asking about this, ha... If ever you're reading this)
Anyway, is it true that when you leave the top deck of any kit that have it screwed will make your car build "TWEAK"???
Do you really have to unscrew them before storing it for a long time???
Does anybody has experienced this already???
When storing the kit also for a long time, do I really need to remove first the wheels and put the kit on a glass, flat???
Will this cause also "TWEAK"???
Thanks in advance...

i cant say that it will cause the chassis to tweak, but ive always just loosened everything to be safe.

I never do that when i store my car app. 2-3 weeks or so. After race i just check at if there any tweak i just loosened topdeck to take off any tension and tight them back and let it so.
Just my .2 cent

By the way guys, where can I get Complete Set of titanium screws for my 05ms??? I'm from Philippines and I want to order online... What shop would you guys prefer???

Oh, so you really have to loosen the top deck for there would be no tension applied when you store the kit??? What would be the consequences if you didn't do this??

I'd email the guys at RC Champ for a Ti screw set for the 05MS. They also have a Ti/Al set which further lightens the car by using Al screws in certain places where the extra strength of Ti in comparison to Al is not so imperative.
On another topic, I've finally got my TA05MS running with the little spare time I have at the moment. It's unbelievably stable, but not quite where I would like it to be. As it is set up, my 05MS is slightly slower than my heavier TA05R (I'm using a spool setup in my R and a one-way in my MS). I guess that's not surprising given that I ran the MS once with a completely untested setup. However, I know the 05MS has a lot of potential since it's practically on par with my 05R which I have had a lot of time to tune.
Like someone else mentioned, it feels like the roll of the car is a little slow. When I had that feel with my TA05R, I shortened the upper camber links and it helped to solve the problem. I plan to try the same with the MS and maybe add more toe-out at the front hingepins than the manual's setting calls for.
Has anyone else got a setup with their TA05MS that they are satisfied with? If so, I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd share it! Thanks!

The listing on Champ's website is not for the international market. If you are looking at the different combos for the same kit, those are kits being sold with miscellaneous parts like radio, charger, body, screws, etc. You need to email them to see what they have available for the international market.
