I'm hoping John Stranahan tests their 3.5 in his 1/10th pan car to see how it compares to the Novak 3.5. I like that guy's style, you can always count on him to review things clearly.

I'm gonna pick up the 10.5 when it's available and see how it compares to the Novak 10.5.

Adam, is John a magazine reviewer?

I know Todd Hodge runs this motor. I have sent him a PM asking his thougts on the motor and how it compares to LRP and Novak motors...It looks nice and supposedly has a built in ineternal cooling fan in the motor can to keep it cooler, in addition to the cooling holes it has in the can...

I have the new Speed Passion 3,5T brushless which is basically the same as the Orion one (since it's based on it). It has the internal cooling fan and boy, does it work! At six cells, outdoor, 85 degree day it was only 110 degrees warm, and the LRP speedo didn't even hit 90. So much power it fried my diff.

Note: When it rotates it sounds like something is horribly wrong, like the pinion mating up with a stripped spur, but dont worry, it just sounds like that. Very distintive sound, like no other brushless.

Wow, that's really terribly lame to not include the sensor wire, especially for the price. I wonder what Orion's reasoning was for excluding it, if that's truly the case.
