Default what car??? (haven't heard this one before huh?)

Here's the deal I'm looking into getting in to on-road electric. I have a nitro buggy and truck now. What I'm wondering if you had the money and were looking into getting into what would you buy. I don't want to waste money on buying starter stuff and then having to rebuy in a month. I'm wanting something that will compete. Electric 1/10 CLUB Touring Car is what the local track is racing. I have the money to buy but I don't want to waste money. any help would be appriciated. All the local hobby shop has in is a RTR tc4. So outside of that I will order on line.

A few more details would be helpful - what motor class will you be running, what type of surface?

I would go with the shaft drive. TC3 or TC4, The batteries mount on the left side. I think the shaft drives will carry more off throttle speed as well.
Especially with rubber tires.

Depending on what direction the track goes you can mount batteries and motor either side on the STR4 Pro2 for weight distribution.
