I've got a problem with my Spektrum Module. Its one of the early ones, KO fitment, light grey case and one of the ones that needed the airel re-routed. Bought new at the start of 2006.

I've always stored the module in my Helios, stood upright in the right hand side of a Polybutler case and its been fine, but the other week I started getting a bit of glitching. When I took the module out of the radio, I heard a tapping sound when I moved it. I took apart the case of the module carefully, and found the thin airel had come out of the gold plug. As I needed the radio for the next heat, I soldered the airel onto the back of the plug as I couldn't get the wire back into the crimped end of the plug.

After this, I've had glitching (staying on the same throttle and steering input), and the car shutdown, usually about 20-25m away from me.

What I need to know is, are there any replacement parts available for the KO Module, such as the internal ariel and module case? I remember seeing some on the Helger website, but they aren't listed anymore.

I've emailed Helger too, but any help appreicated

I had an earlier version spektrum for my m8. I tried doing the mod where you put the antenna in the original hole and ended up breaking the wire. I sent it back to spektrum expecting a hefty bill when but got back, but I got it back free of charge all upgraded, receiver included. All I paid for was the shipping there. My personal opinion is that there costumer service is top notch.
