Yes, I set my best time with a 10T brushed motor!! I find it very difficult to drive brushless after 30 years of brushed. The car is very sensitive, and very fast. However, if the majority run brushless, then you have to as well, otherwise you can't keep up down the straights (very long straight in Sweden) even if the car is just as fast in the infield on brushed.

I used LRP speedo and LRP 4* motor most of the time - very good combination. By my observation the LRP/Nosram product was the most popular by far, and also thought to be the smoothest speedo, especially the 2007 version. I would recommend that combination over the others for drivers new to brushless. HTH
