No...its not as safe. Get the duratrax ICE charger or the Orion Carbon.

Default Um, Yeti, what are you smoking?

The ICE advertises its Li-Po charging feature and has it program for Li-Po cells. How can you say it was not designed to charge Li-Po? What have you been smoking?

They SAY it does...but they also said the 977 was a LiPo charger, too and it's no bueno for LiPos. Peak/Orion/Kokam don't have either on their "approved" list for their batteries. They're supposed to be testing a 989 out sometime soon.

I wouldn't buy one until it gets the "thumbs up" from them. Hell, I wouldn't buy one anyways...I had a superbrain and it sucked. I have friends with 977s and they suck...LOL...there are too many good chargers in that price range that are easier to work and more reliable...*cough*...*cough*...*ICE*...*cough*...* cough*...
