I have Both a mini-z and a micro, they are not the same so comparing is un thinkable. I like the mini-z can run in smaller location the rs4 mirco can`t. When I mean I talking about small I talking about Japanese size rooms. Mircos are meant for outside running. Micros are nice, but to me they are just a little smaller then the 1/10 scale cars. The mini-z is a true small size car.

Hey guys,
Have any other people had a problem with the stock motors and 6 cell 1600mAh batteries? I have a 1600 6 cell pack with my stock motor, and haven't had a problem, but I only run my car for like 20 minutes at a time. I haven't run the 1600's straight through from full charge to dump. Heck, I think I've only charged them twice!!!! It just keeps running and running and running.... lol.

Did anyone try the tips I mentioned previously in this thread? Did you have any luck? Could you tell a difference? LMK....

Big Dog..
I too have the same 6 cell setup as yourself. I have had not one problem with the motor. Now I have had an issues with the front diff, but that was my own building problem.. not the car..

The 6 cell makes the car come alive.... and I get at least 20 minutes of run time. Motor Run hot.. but bearable. Cannot wait for the Mod.....

what? their like half the size of a 1/10th car. My micro is a million times better than my mini-z was.

no to get in to a fight. But the micro rs4 and the mini-z are two different scales. You can not compare the two. Mini-z is mainly a indoor running. The Rs micro a out door.

Sydewynder... I honestly do not know the true runtime of my car with the 6 cells.. cause I charge it like once a week... run it for about 10 mintes at a time .. a couple times a week...I am sure I get more than 20 minutes...

USAGI- you have to remember, like you said-

Quote:

You are talking about Japanese housing, and most other people on this forum are located in the US. I personnally have 2 rooms in my house that are large enough to run 1/12th scale- one road coarse, 1 oval...LOL

My point, I don't think we really need to get into housing design and layout on here, in the USA Mini-z's are table top cars and Micros are for the floors.

Well, you got some size rooms, to run the micro rs4, even in american standards. With items in the room tables chair, sofa etc....... makes a great course, but its still a a fight driven, and wiat if your mother or wife catches you running in the house
I see you point, no matter what you drive you have to take care not to hit chairs and cats dogs etc..... I do have a understanding about housing design and layout.
Take care
