Default Oooouuuuch!!!!

I guess I stepped into it here

Mike, I didn't know that you ARE Epic, sorry !

I thought some jerk wanted to impress with somebody else's car.

But, what surprises me even more is how you know what is going on in the Deep South!!

How'd you know about it?

Here is my ride, EEEEXXOOOOO!

hi....i'm looking towards a micro rs4.
i've had some expirence with 1/10's but didn't get to deep into racing..just bashed around. I don't really like playing with my ta04-r inside teh house cause it's not pretty outside..don't ask.
it's alittle big...so i thought that a micro would be better.
i have on question: if your gonna bulid a 5 or 6 pack, then how do you charge them? can you use 1/10 chargers?
and how are the micro's on carpet?

thanks

Default Ratza RRX

I bought one off a guy just wainting for it to arrive. However, if you are thinking of buying one you can't they were a limited edition. So unless you are getting it off of someone your out of luck. They do offer an unlimited edition but, it is different than the RRX.

Uses t-Plate instead of floating pod and it doesn't come with the little peice of Graphite that holds the wires, it also doesn't come withe the rear shock, and upper deck.

You charge the packs in teh same manner but you need to solder the cells together and put connecters on them or solder tabs to solder the wires to.

As far as the charger goes, you need a charger that has an adjustable amp rate and alligator clips or the plug style that you choose.

These acks charge at rates between 1.5amps and 3amps. 1/10th scale packs charge at rates of 4amps to 7amps.

thanks.

Foams: These are 1 full rear tire and one half front tire glued together and yes they are trued. This was my first attemt to make wide rear tires. In the meantime I started mounting my own foam donuts and the Trinity donuts are already as wide as the tires you see in the picture. Using those donuts, you only have to increase the width of the rear rims. I wish somebody came out with 25 mm wide aluminum rims, because alu rims could be soaked in Acetone to get the old foams off once they are worn out and re-use the rims.

Servo: I use a JR 3550 which is slighly wider than the HS 81. I did file a bit away on the inside of the Epic servo holder to make it fit.
This is a great servo. I first tried the 81 MG, but that's not a servo. This thing never centered correctly and made controlling the car a nightmare. Now the car feels like a 1/10th sclae TC, actually my lap time with the micro are only a tenth of a second off the ones I run with my XXX-S with a 19 turn and foams.

Great little car, lotsa fun
