Thinking about buying one of these micros saw one at my club last week and it looked good.
I understand I can use "standard sized" electronics but what do i do about charging batteries can I use my Novak Millenium?? If so what current do I charge at??

you can use your Millenium to charge your batteries, it just depends on the batteries that your use. I use a Orion pack (it is basically a receiver pack). I charge it on NiMH linear with a 1.5 to 2.0 setting on the volts. It's fine.

If you make your own battery packs, just watch the rate you charge them at.

Good Luck...

Hi Everyone,

Just recently picked up a micro RS4. I also got the LRP speedo built with the connectors already attatched, a 1100Mah NI-MH( 6volt) , and HPI's modified motor. I just have the stocker in at the moment, and 4AA batteries. I have a CS Spacecharger pro and was wondering if anyone has one and knows wether or not it can charge my orion 1100 Mah NI-MH battery. I also heard that TRC has foams for them now and was wondering if anyone has tried a set and how the car acts with them in stock form. I am going to hop it up someday with a RATZAS chassis and all the aftermarket doo-dads I can find. What mods have all of you made and what helped performance the most?

See ya ,

For handling definately the chassis and tires are the first to upgrade. For speed a 6 cell pack and big block motor is too much fun. Not sure about the charger but since it's a pro model it should work fine as long it can detect how many cells it's charging. If you run on carpet then foams are good if you drive tarmac use HPI micro tires and their tire set up sheet on their website. One of my micros is flat out hooked up running the stock planetary diffs and stock plastic parts and all i did was change the chassis and tires....!

The novak SPY speedcontrol is nice. I want one.
But you know this micro thing is a bit screwy only 2% drivers a stock car. Everything else is optioned with other makers this sucks!

Just checked out the hachiroku at the Reedy race. It is sweet... Did anyone see the drift videos on the HPI Japan site? http://www.hpiracing.co.jp/contents/...cro/movie.html

Is the micro durable? I just went out for the first time to the track and ran my F1, I suck, I must have tapped the front tyres off the car about 5 times. Now I'm looking at something that will keep it's tyres on and keep running no matter what. I think I'll keep my f1 for play running.

No it's not.
But you can hop it up to make it tough like a tough cookie.

I'm in the process of hopping it up. I'm still waiting for my 81mg servo to arrive.

Hope everything comes out nice and cool.
