At the rate Orion keeps offering option parts, these Micros will become the most expensive hopped up RC cars ever. After seeing them race at our track, all I can say is save your money.

No point going around the track like thousand time...that will be so BORING...

I just got my Micro today!! Yipee!!! Now I get to build it tonight/tomorrow and have some fun! I bought the C5 Corvette one. They didn't have the oneways at the shop. I think I'll need a mod motor as well. I raced TC's today and they had a "mini" class with Micros and Mini's. Those Mini's are tiny!! compared to the Mirco! Yikes!! Anyways, let me go... got some work to do!

I dont want to run a thousand times around the track but I want at least half an hour before recharging my batteries if I'm just bashing around. And if u gonna practice driving on a track its a good thing if you can do it for 30 mins so you dont need to bring a lot of batts...

Kilruf: Welcome to the world of Micro...5 cell in a stock motor is more than enough to satisfy your need for speed around the house...

Oh, i agree...but like I could charge my 5 2/3a cells in about an hour, so its ok for me...

and I just want to race, so I dont need a long time...

maybe i should get some AA 1600mah to play around in my basement...

And is the reason that i could put the on the chassis and lower my upper deck....so ya...

Everything is good...

Yeah, the Corvette C5-R uses the widest and longest settings. I just finished up today and painted it yucky colors hehe (marlboro orange and white). Took my time building it. Chased the cats outside with it in the drive way. It was pretty fun. I have one question though... I used my old 80's Futaba MC10 ESC. It seems that when I go full throttle, my steering response is lost/slow. Kinda like a delay. I'm thinking it's my old ESC. Does anyone else have this trouble? Or is everyone elses like a standard RC car and steering responds normal whether at full throttle or not? I might have to try out one of my other ESC's to find out (G10 or V12xc.)

Anyways, it's fun. Not as fast as my old Tamtech. But still fun. That's why I want the new mod motor and 7.2 batteries. I watched them race the Micro's yesterday. They seemed pretty slow for their scale. But then again, they raced the full 1/10 scale track hehe. I think 6v/7.2v and a mod motor will live'n things up for me! Well let me head out. Oh yeah, and yes, the wheel wells were semi precut.

Ya, I think its the ESC...for the delay thing...

Put the V12XC in, nice and tiny...

Try to buy some 2/3a cells to bulit the pack, much cheaper, and you can configure anyway you want.

Default slow for their scale?

I think you got it wrong there...I think they're fast for their scale. Give the micro 7.2v in a stock motor and it will leave most tamiyas stock cars (TL-01, TA-02, TA-03) or at least has the same speed. Personally I think its one of the fastest (per scale and boxstock) RC out there except for the mini z. Also you can mod it to the max and you can reach 30mph (this is from other ppls micro) easily compare to my TA-03 with all the hop ups and stock rebuildable can only do about 25 to 27mph.

Now get some 7.2v and speed 300 motor and for sure you'll kick some ass including 1/10 RC's in your area. Good luck in your Micro dude.

TFR: Are you racing your micro now?
